Something is showing that should be hidden
YouTube changes its layout often. If a rule stops matching, the extension switches that rule off in your browser rather than hiding the wrong thing, and the toolbar icon shows a number. Open the popup: the affected rule says Paused and offers Try again.
We check every rule against live YouTube each night, so a fix is usually already on its way. To speed it up, email a screenshot and the page address to the contact below.
Something is hidden that shouldn't be
Open the popup and untick rules one at a time to find the one responsible, then tell us which rule and which page. Meanwhile, Pause 15 min turns everything off temporarily.
A Shorts link opened in the normal player
That's intended: Shorts play in the standard player so links people send you still work, without the swipe feed. To get the swipe feed back, untick Shorts links play normally.
The homepage is empty
Also intended — it's the feed being hidden. Two alternatives: untick Homepage feed to bring it back, or tick Home opens Subscriptions to land on your subscriptions instead.
Does it block ads?
No, and it won't. Ad blocking is a different promise made by different tools; Inkblocks Focus works alongside them.
Does it collect anything?
No. See the privacy policy. No account, no analytics, no network requests.
