Privacy Policy
Inkblocks Focus is a browser extension that hides distracting parts of youtube.com. This policy exists because stores require one. It is short because there is little to say.
What we collect
Nothing.
The extension has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and makes no network requests of any kind. It does not know who you are, what you watch, or that you installed it.
What is stored, and where
Your settings — which rules are on, whether the extension is paused, and the date it was installed (used once, to ask whether you'd like to leave a review) — are stored by your browser using its built-in extension storage. If you have browser sync turned on, your browser may sync those settings between your own devices through your browser vendor's sync service, under that vendor's privacy policy. We never receive them.
To remove everything, uninstall the extension. Your browser deletes its storage.
Permissions
The extension asks for access to youtube.com only. It uses that access to apply styles to YouTube pages, to redirect Shorts links to the standard player, and to check whether its own rules still match YouTube's page structure. That check happens entirely inside your browser and its result stays there.
Changes
If this policy ever changes materially — for example if we add optional telemetry — the extension's version notes will say so, and this page will carry the new date.
